David is an articling student at Macdonald Sager, where he assists in Banking & Financial Services as well as Commercial Real Estate. David assists on a variety of commercial financing transactions for a number of banks, credit unions, private lenders and corporate borrowers. He also assists on matters involving the sale, purchase, and development of commercial real estate.

David is a recent graduate of the J.D. program at the University of Western Ontario. During his time at Western Law, David worked as a legal compliance intern with the Canadian Red Cross, focusing on health law, privacy, law, environmental law, employment law, and insurance law and ensuring operational currency with employment legislation. At Western Law, David co-chaired the Orientation Week Committee, the Western Law Advocacy Committee, the Western Law Gives Back Committee and served on the Student Legal Society. David placed third in the Lerners Cup Advocacy Competition and represented Western Law’s advocacy team at the Wilson Moot and the Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada.

Prior to law school, he earned a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies from the University of Western Ontario, double majoring in Finance and Biology. As an undergraduate student, David completed an internship in the Non Resident Trusts and Offshore Investment Fund group at the Canada Revenue Agency.

In his spare time, David is the commissioner of a fantasy football league in its sixth season and is an ardent supporter of the Toronto Blue Jays.
