Bio

Christine is a senior litigation lawyer in our firm.

Christine practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation. She acts for clients in a wide range of commercial matters including disputes related to real property, all aspects of construction, commercial landlord and tenant, shareholder and partnership disputes, including oppression remedy litigation, and business insurance matters.

Christine also represents employers and employees in all aspects of employment law including wrongful dismissal cases, breach of non-solicit/non-compete agreements, harassment, including sexual harassment, and issues concerning breaches of the Human Rights Code. Christine drafts and advises upon all levels of employment contracts, employee handbooks and various employment policies. She also works with US counsel and their clients with respect to employment issues arising on the purchase and sale of businesses in Ontario.

She has appeared before Judges in the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Court of Appeal, various Boards and Tribunals, Associates Judges on construction lien matters and has mediated numerous disputes across a broad range of issues.

Christine is an avid tennis player and amateur photographer and enjoys mystery novels.
